SANGRIA

As the summer winds down and all this uncertainty looms around us, I can’t help but wonder what my favorite fall sangria will be! Spring and summer, are all about the strawberry lemonades and salty dogs or just a white with some yummy peaches, nectarines, and grapes. SO simple and SO delicous.

But, fall….has always thrown me into a frenzy. I can not find a good go to red sangria. It should be easy. Usually when you hear sangria, you see a red one in your head. Right? I have tried an apple pie one, good but way too sweet. I think my next attempt will be this recipe, by healthyglow.com.

Pomegranate Sangria: 1 bottle of red wine, 2 oranges, 2 red apples, 1 stick of cinnamon, 3 or 4 star of anise, 1cup of pom seeds, 1 cup of fresh pom juice, 1/2cup of Grand Marnier, and 2 cups of seltzer… Of course I will play with the amounts and make it my own!

If you have a favorite, let us know. Share your recipes here, or on facebook, or shoot us an email! We love to try new things!!
